How we create our stellar event product list

Do you ever wonder how event bartending companies choose the alcohol on their lists? We believe that the bar should always be a top priority, especially in regard to the products that we serve. Our commitment to offering the best and most affordable products is the foundation of our success.

Today we thought we’d dig into the three unique principles we follow when creating our product list: market research, taste testing, and auditing.

Market Research

Our beverage director LOVES his job. Seriously, he spends every single day researching new products, visiting distilleries and wineries, talking with reps, taking certification classes, and attending conferences. His passion for discovering new and exciting products is evident when you look through our extensive offerings. He is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to alcohol and is always willing to find that new amazing product that’s destined to become a hit.

Blind Taste Testing

Every year, our beverage department overhauls our entire list to make sure we still have the best possible selections. Once they decide on possible products for each category and package, the entire company spends a week blind-tasting every product. Then we vote on our favorite, and the top in each category make up our new list. (It’s a very fun week in the office!) Not only does this verify that many people love the product for its taste, but it helps our client sales representatives have knowledge about every product when helping our clients choose their selections.

Regular Auditing

We truly believe that every product should be both high quality and affordable, so we update our packages every month as needed. We listen to client feedback. If a wine is getting negative reviews, we replace it. If a product becomes too expensive, we replace it. Products change as times change and our packages make sure to reflect that.

Our curated product list offers an impressive range of choices, however, we understand that each event is unique and our clients may have specific preferences. If a client wants a product that’s not on our list, we’ll go out of our way to make sure to include it at their event. A great bar makes a great event, and we want that reflected every time.
