We understand that corporate events require a unique blend of professionalism, customization, and safety. Our certified bartenders, high-quality beverage selections, and tailored services guarantee a seamless and impressive event that aligns perfectly with your brand and objectives. Learn how our bar services can make your corporate event stand out in this detailed guide.
WHAT IS BAR CATERING AND WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE?
Bar catering, also called beverage catering, is just like choosing food caterers, but for your bartending services. When you organize a company event, you want every detail to impress and delight your attendees, and that includes the drink selection.
Bar catering aims to achieve this by providing exceptional beverages tailored to your event’s needs. While some food caterers offer beverage services, their primary focus is often on the food, making the drinks an afterthought. By hiring a company that specializes exclusively in bar service, you ensure a seamless planning process and a safe and memorable experience for your corporate guests.
A comprehensive bar service includes trained and certified bartenders, alcohol, mixers, ice, equipment, glasses, and garnishes as standard offerings. However, bar catering can be tailored to fit any concept, from signature cocktails to high-quality products at competitive prices. At Peak Beverage, we focus on the bar, providing expert service for any corporate event, from holiday parties to office happy hours.
HOW IS CORPORATE EVENT BAR CATERING DIFFERENT THAN OTHER EVENT BAR CATERING?
Corporate event catering differs from other event catering in 6 key ways. At Peak Beverage, we’re aware of those differences and make sure that the bar matches the event every time.
Audience and Atmosphere
Corporate events typically involve professional attendees including employees, clients, and business partners. The atmosphere is often more formal and structured, with a focus on networking and business discussions. Whereas private events like weddings tend to focus on celebration and personal connections.
The bar service will match the tone of a corporate event with professional bartenders and a matching menu so the attendees can focus on the event. If you’re looking for a venue to host your next event at, see our list of venues in Texas or in Colorado perfect for hosting corporate events and company parties.
Beverage Selection
For corporate events, we’ll create a menu with a diverse selection of beverages to cater to a wide range of tastes including non-alcoholic options like mocktails, and sparkling water. For alcohol, we’ll often create signature cocktails that reflect the company’s branding or theme.
Service Style
Corporate events are usually more formal than private events, such as weddings. They may include branded bars, customized glassware, and bartenders in matching uniforms to reflect the company’s image. Efficiency, stellar customer service, and professionalism are key.
Whether you host the bar at your office, or a dedicated venue, our bar service will be exceptional. If you’re trying to decide whether to host your event on-site or off-site, read our blog to learn the pros and cons of each option.
Timing and Flow
From happy hours to conferences, corporate events often have a structured timeline. At Peak, we organize the full bar service according to a timetable, featuring designated times for networking events, talks, team building events, and intermissions. We know how to make sure that the bar service is efficient and well-coordinated to fit within the event timeline.
Budget and Cost Management
We understand the importance of sticking to a budget and can create a bar that gives you the most value for your money.
Customization and Branding
We know the importance of making your event bar stand out and match your company image. We provide lots of opportunities to incorporate company logos, colors, and themes into the bar setup and drink presentation. At Peak Beverage, we know the importance of company branding and how it can help unify and distinguish an event. We have many ways in which we can tailor our beverage service to your event, from themed cocktails, to drinks with your company logo on top.

TERMS TO KNOW
All-Inclusive
At Peak Beverage, we provide an all-inclusive bar service, and when we say all-inclusive, we mean it. Our all-inclusive hosted packages include all products, TABC/TIPS/Approved Responsible Vendor-trained bartenders, glassware, garnishes, mixers, setup and breakdown, and a guarantee that we will never run out of product during an event.
With our packages, you pay one price per guest for an unlimited open bar — a fixed price per hour at the beginning that won’t change based on consumption levels. Learn more about what makes Peak’s all-inclusive bar packages unique.
Branded Cocktail
Imagine elevating your corporate event with a signature drink that captures the essence of your brand. A “branded cocktail” is a custom-crafted beverage that incorporates elements of your company’s identity—such as logo colors, brand flavors, or even a creative name that reflects your brand’s message.
At Peak Beverage, our expert mixologists work closely with you to design a unique cocktail that not only delights your guests but also reinforces your brand’s presence at the event. Whether it’s a sleek martini for a tech launch or a vibrant mojito for a summer celebration, a branded cocktail ensures your company leaves a lasting impression.
BYOB (Bring Your Own Booze)
When you choose to do a BYOB bar for an event, you’re choosing to provide your own alcohol. You can hire bartending companies that offer various levels of service. Some companies only provide bartenders, while others also include mixers and equipment. If you’re curious about which option is better for you between all-inclusive or traditional BYOB services, read more HERE.
Cash BAr
If you host an event with a cash bar, your guests pay for the alcohol. Cash bars are great for fundraisers and charity events, but for many corporate events, hosts tend to choose consumption or all-inclusive models.
Consumption
When you host a bar on a consumption-based model, the bartenders keep track of the alcohol served during the duration of the event, then charge you for the amount consumed at the end.
Consumption model bars can be useful when you know you have a crowd of very light drinkers. Some bar services, including Peak, can offer hybrid models of cash bar and consumption.* You could have a bar that’s consumption-based until the guests drink to a determined dollar amount, at which point the bar becomes a cash bar.
*This depends on the state liquor laws – see our FAQs for more info on what type of bars we can offer in your state.
Drink Token/Drink Ticket
A “drink token” or “drink ticket” is a perfect way to manage and control the bar service at your corporate event. These tokens or tickets act as vouchers that your guests can exchange for a beverage of their choice. This system allows you to offer complimentary drinks to your attendees while maintaining control over the event’s overall bar consumption. Whether you’re hosting a large conference, a training session, or an intimate networking event, drink tokens or tickets offer a convenient and organized solution for your bar service needs.
Specialty Stations (e.g., Whiskey Tasting, Spritz Bar)
Add a unique and interactive element to your corporate event with specialty stations like a whiskey tasting with a beverage specialist or a spritz bar. These stations offer a curated experience that encourages attendees to explore a selection of premium beverages and learn from expert bartenders. Whether it’s sampling different whiskeys and learning about their origins or crafting the perfect spritz with personalized garnishes, specialty stations provide a memorable and engaging activity for your attendees.
At Peak Beverage, we tailor these stations to fit your event’s theme and objectives, ensuring a sophisticated and enjoyable experience that stands out. Specialty stations are perfect for adding a touch of luxury and customization to any corporate gathering.
TABC/TIPS-Certified Bartenders
When hiring event bartenders, you’ll want to make sure they are certified to bartend in the state they’re operating in. Each state has different requirements for bartenders and it usually involves taking a class and passing an exam to safely and legally bartend. Having TABC (Texas) or TIPS (Colorado) trained bartenders is essential to ensure the safety at your event.
At Peak, we make safety a priority. Our bartenders are TABC or TIPS certified and extensively trained by us to follow safety protocols and manage responsible consumption. For all corporate parties, you can trust us to make your favorite drinks while also looking out for you and your guests.
